Dynamic duo presents 'Rockcote's Convenient Truth'

June 28, 2010

One of the Sunshine Coast’s most dynamic business couples, Bob and Chris Cameron believe there hasn’t been a greater opportunity for profit and fun in the past 250 years than implementing environmental initiatives and will share their views at the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s breakfast at the Maroochydore Surf Club on July 13.

SCBWN President, Sue Willis looks forward to the power couple sharing their valuable lessons with breakfast guests not only as immensely successful business people but also as leaders in implementing environmentally friendly business practices.

“Chris is a former SCBWN Business Woman of the Year award recipient and we are delighted to have the opportunity to hear her and Bob’s story as they aim to make Rockcote the first fully sustainable and regenerative company on the planet,” said Sue.

“The Sunshine Coast boasts some of the most innovative and awarded business people and this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from two of the best.”

Entrepreneur, visionary and highly successful businessman, Bob Cameron founded Rockcote at the age of 24 and over the past 30 years has built it into a nationally and internationally acclaimed company in partnership with his wife, Chris.

Rockcote manufacturers Australia’s first range of fully environmentally friendly paint and coatings and is recognised for its innovative “people friendly” products and commitment to sustainable and regenerative business practices.

Following the breakfast, guests will have the opportunity to attend a workshop hosted by Melanie Jacobson from PJT Accountants about how to establish a plan to grow a small business into a business that exceeds all expectations.

The breakfast is proudly sponsored by Robyn Hills Photography and will commence at 6:30am for a 7am start on Tuesday, July 13. Bookings are essential and close at 11am on Wednesday, July 7.  Call Chelsea on 0412 525 854 or visit www.scbwn.org.au to reserve your place.

Ends.
