29 April, 2008

The Annual Ladies Ambrose Golf Day, hosted by the Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network is set to be a hit with the announcement today of the major hole-in-one prize of two return tickets to Brunei courtesy of Royal Brunei Airlines.

Recognised as one of the premier Ladies' Golf Tournaments on the Sunshine Coast, the event is already attracting a number business personalities as well as one of the region's golfing young guns, Lauren Mason.

Having represented Queensland at the Primary Schools National titles in 2006 and 2007 and won, the 13-year-old from Horton Park is excited about participating in the ladies event. Lauren will help in supporting the network's chosen charity, the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation, by taking shots for players in exchange for a gold coin donation.

However, you don't need to be a professional to get involved, beginners and even non-golfers are welcome. There will be great prizes on offer for the best dressed team as well as raffles and a host of other competitions throughout the day.

Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network President, Karen Neuendorf says that the annual Ambrose competition is an opportunity for like-minded business women to get together and network in a fun and enjoyable environment.

“The golf day is certainly a highlight on the social calendar and this year's event is shaping up to be a great day of fun and entertainment,” said Karen

The Annual Ladies Golf Day is to be held at the Novotel Twin Waters Golf Club on Friday, May 9. For further information, please contact Gloria Robertson on 0417 100 130.
