Good health and exercise key to business success

29 August 2007

In today's fast paced working environment, business women from across the Coast will take time out to learn about the importance of good health and fitness for a busy lifestyle at the Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network breakfast on Tuesday, September 11, at the Maroochydore Surf Club.

They will be joined by special guest and speaker Mark McKean, an internationally renowned personal trainer, exercise psychologist and university lecturer, who will be sharing the benefits of being fit and healthy in a busy working environment.

Mark has worked in the health and fitness arena for over 20 years and was recently named Australian Personal Trainer of the Year and was awarded the top accolades as an Australian Fitness Network Author.

Mark has co-authored two best seller books with Lisa Curry Kenny, published a range of articles for numerous magazines and coached athletes to both Olympic and World Championship medals.

Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network President, Karen Neuendorf says that business women often get caught up in the daily grind and forget about the importance of good health and exercise in achieving daily goals and success within their own business.

“We are delighted to welcome Mark to one of our breakfasts and anticipate another great turn out,” said Karen.

Sponsored by Oracle Business Brokers the breakfast will focus on teaching women how to find a healthy work-life balance and encourage them to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

There will also be a workshop held after the breakfast by Jayana McMahon from Liberation Coaching teaching women how to stop the 'Mind Games' and create a healthy mind.

The breakfast kicks off at 7am, tickets are $25 for members and $40 for non members. Bookings can be made at www.scbwn.org.au or by contacting Chelsea on 0412 525 854 and must be received by 11am on Wednesday, September 5.

Ends.
