Owner of Mezze Tapas Bar, Con Constantinides, believes this is a welcomed change and is excited about the great response locals have had to Mezze. “Local restaurants and cafés are fast becoming the new social hotspot because residents prefer to dine locally. Being able to have a drink without worrying about how you are going to get home, is more relaxing and means you can have a better night out,” said Con. “At Mezze we have endeavoured to create a relaxed environment for locals to unwind after work or enjoy a night cap and bite to eat, while still offering an elegant, wine bar feel.” Mezze Tapas and Bar is located on Seaside Boulevard and is surrounded by residential homes. The newly opened bar is already attracting the locals as well as guests from further a field who want to enjoy the tapas menu. “Mezze, or tapas as it is more commonly known, are plates of food that are designed to complement drinking and are inspired by Greek and Mediterranean flavours, “said Con. “Our philosophy at Mezze Bar is to enhance and complement your drink while providing a backdrop for social gathering.” Mezze Bar is open daily from 12 noon til late and offers boutique wines and beers, premium spirits and cocktails as well as a range of non-alcoholic beverages. Mezze Bar also cater for birthdays and small intimate functions. Mezze Bar is located at Shop 12, 25 Seaside Boulevard in Marcoola's Town of Seaside.
