Established in July 2002, the Maroochy Tourism Industry Advisory Board's (MTIAB) principal responsibility is to act as a key advisory body on tourism to Maroochy Shire Council on a range of tourism issues. This includes working with tourism partners such as Tourism Sunshine Coast, Tourism Queensland and other regional tourism advisory boards and agencies to ensure maximum value in the area of marketing expenditure.
