Expo grows to accommodate exhibitor demand

12 June 2008

Anticipation is building ahead of this year's 24th annual Queensland Home Garden Expo, with organisers forced to increase the size of this year's event to accommodate growing exhibitor demand.

With over 95 per cent of sites already booked four weeks out from the event, the Queensland Home Garden Expo is fast becoming one of Australia's most sought after gardening events for a diverse range of exhibitors.

The event, to be held at the Maroochy Showgrounds in Nambour from July 11-13, attracts of 20,000 garden lovers and horticulture professionals each year, making it an outstanding sales and marketing opportunity for many businesses, both locally and even interstate.

With in excess of 300 exhibitors already booked in this year Event Organiser, Marion Beazley, is overwhelmed by the response and as a result has released a number of new sites for this year's Expo to accommodate this growing demand.

“The Queensland Home Garden Expo features many of the country's top gardening and horticultural specialists, attracting a large array of quality exhibitors from around Australia ,” said Marion.

“The escalating popularity of the event, has forced the Expo to expand, giving many exhibitors who would like to get involved an opportunity to do so. This year's event will be bigger than previous years and promises to offer visitors more diversity than ever.”

The Expo will feature 60 of Queensland 's best nurseries selling over 40,000 top quality and new release plants daily.

Everything from the latest garden tools, books, accessories, swimming pools, patios and decks, water tanks, compost bins, bush products, lawnmowers, garden art and more will be on-site over the three days.

“This year's Expo is shaping up to be another great event with bigger stands and more sites on offer than ever before. There are only a limited number of sites available so anyone interested in coming on board should get in quickly to ensure they don't miss out on this exciting opportunity," said Marion.
