Fresh PR wins business award

Sunshine Coast public relations consultancy, Fresh PR, celebrated winning the Home Based Business category in the Excellence in Business & Export Awards held at Twin Waters Resort last night.

The event, which recognises excellence in Sunshine Coast businesses, follows weeks of interviews and the evaluation of over 150 written submissions.

“The evening was an exceptional showcase of the businesses we have on the Sunshine Coast and I am very honoured and excited to be recognised at such a prestigious event,” Maya Gurry, proprietor of Fresh PR said.

“The demand for public relations services continues to grow on the Coast as businesses recognise the value that PR can offer.”

Fresh PR has been operating since January 2004 and has experienced exceptional growth since its inception. The consultancy has worked with businesses across a range of industries and offers services which include media relations, event management and copywriting.

Maya Gurry has brought with her a wealth of international experience across various disciplines of public relations. Her resume includes product and corporate PR for Volkswagen of South Africa as well as food and wine PR for Marks & Spencer's Head Office in London . She also headed the communications department for TrustMarque International launching electronic tendering through smartcard technology to the UK Government.
