Band host dance at Kawana Hall

The 40-piece Caloundra City Concert Band will be hosting a dance on Saturday, September 4 at the Kawana Hall at 7:30pm.
This will be the band's last concert in Kawana for 2004 and music will include classics such as Glenn Miller, jazz, Dixieland, progressive barn dance, the evening 3-step and modern waltzes.
The Caloundra City Concert Band dances have proved incredibly popular in the past and organisers recommend tickets are purchased ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be arranged by contacting Val on 5450 6680 and cost $12 per person including tea and coffee. Patrons are invited to bring along their own food and drink.
The band will also perform at the Warana Youth Festival of Arts Award Evening on the 28 th August 2004 at the Nambour Civic Centre. The festival promotes art amongst year 12 and TAFE students and awards will be presented in several categories including film, photography and website design.Ends.
