Concert Band performs in Coolum

The award-winning Sunshine Coast Concert Band will perform a variety concert to raise much needed funds for the Coolum High School Chaplaincy at the Coolum Civic Centre on Sunday, June 1 from 2pm.

The annual Coolum concert will be lead by Music Director, Ken Chadwick, accompanied by vocalists Tanya McFayden and David Stygall. The concert will feature instrumental soloists and include a variety of popular music for all to enjoy.

Musical Director, Ken Chadwick, said that the band only goes to Coolum once a year, but the concert is always well received.

“We are delighted to be able to support the Coolum High School Chaplaincy Fund, and this year's event is not to be missed with entertainment for the whole family,” said Ken.

The Sunshine Coast Concert Band has a wealth of talent including a number of professional musicians who volunteer their time to fundraise for charity.

The band has shown great support towards those in need and as a result has raised much needed funds for a variety of local causes.
