March 9, 2007

The Sunshine Coast Concert Band will present a variety concert at the Twin Waters Living Choice Resort in support of the Nambour Children's Hospital on March 25, at 2pm.

All funds raised will go towards supporting the Nambour Children's Hospital in providing the best possible health care services for children across the Coast.

The band, led by Music Director Ken Chadwick will be accompanied by local singers Tanya McFadyen and Bev Gourlay, and the event will be hosted by compere Geoff Malcolm.

“We are delighted to be able to support such a worthy local cause through one of our concerts,” Ken Chadwick said.

“Those attending the concert will enjoy some of the favourites including the impressive trombone, alto sax and tenor sax solos and, all in all the event promises to be a great afternoon of entertainment.”

The concert will be held at the Twin Waters Living Choice Auditorium Leisure Centre, 21 Baywater Drive Twin Waters.

Tickets for the concert are available at the door at a cost of $15, which includes afternoon tea. For more information please call 5450 7833.
